Introducing High Water Mark, a new club-focused alias from Valtos. High Water Mark sets draw more directly from contemporary club culture, creating space to showcase some of their favourite non-Altos selections while still carrying clear Valtos influences.

Valtos are Skye natives Daniel Docherty and Martyn MacDonald, and they have taken the Trad and Electronic music worlds by storm. Since their debut shows in December 2021, they have entertained audiences at festivals and sold-out venues nationwide. Valtos draws inspiration from the breathtaking beauty of their home, add a sense of place to their recordings and live performances.

Held at the top of the Cairngorm Mountain Railway, in the Ptarmigan Top Station, this intimate event will take place in a location rarely used for live performances. Sitting at 1097 meters above sea level and accessible only by the Funicular itself, it offers a unique opportunity to experience live music in one of Scotland’s highest and most distinctive venues.
