Welcome to the booking portal for the Cairn Gorm Summit Access Trial. 

Access will be limited to a number of time slots throughout the day. Please note that there is limited availability for this trial with only small number devices available per time slot. It is a requirement that all those aged 18 years and older carry a single tracking device each with the exception of family groups who only require one device between them.

The booking system will not allow you to proceed unless you have added the correct number of tracking devices per Adult Mountain Railway ticket (this includes Students & Seniors). See the examples below for reference.

• 1 x Adult & 1 x Junior + 1 x Device = ✅
• 1 x Adult & 1 x Senior + 2 x Device = ✅
• 1 x Family (2 Adults & 2 Juniors) + 1 Device = ✅
• 1 x Adult & 1 x Senior + 1 x Device = ❌
  
• 1 x Family (1 Adult & 2 Juniors) & 1 Senior + 1 Device = ❌
• 1 x Junior + 1 Device = ❌

Children aged 6 -17 are classed as Junior and may participate in the walk if accompanied by an Adult. Children under 6 years may participate in the walk at the discretion of their parent and the Duty Ranger - travel on the Mountain Railway for children under 6 is free, please speak to the Ticket Office during check-in to collect any child tickets. The walk is not suitable for wheelchair users, baby strollers or buggies. Babies in backpacks may participate if weather conditions are deemed suitable by the Duty Ranger. Dogs are also not permitted.
